A Man Walks into a Bar

The dreaded week of the California State Bar finally came! The Sunday before, we took a family stroll around our little neighborhood to get Jonny out of the house.

Harrison provided Jonny's wake up call on the next morning.

While Jonny finished up last minute studying, Harrison learned that he could draw on our front door with sidewalk chalk.

And he played hide and go seek behind the blinds.

We finally hit the road around 5:30 to get Jonny settled in his hotel in Pasadena, but we got slammed with traffic. So, we took a detour to grab dinner and watch the turtles.

The Bar began on Tuesday and ran through Thursday. So, on Wednesday afternoon we came out to Pasadena before traffic. We had some extra time so we decided to try out the hotel amenities. Our first stop was the pool. Harrison was delighted with its temperature, outdoor music, and lime green floaty.

His bubble bath wasn't as great as the ones he has at home, but he was stoic about it.

The beds, however, were perfect for jumping when Jonny got back to the room.

We then took a stroll around Pasadena.

Happy family celebrating that daddy only has one more day left of the Bar!
