Before Graduation

Jonny had about two weeks between the end of finals and graduation. It was so much fun to have him all to ourselves. We went on lots of walks around the neighborhood.

Enjoyed some serious snuggle time.

Went out with the Waggoners. We're pretty sure Harrison looks a lot more like them they he does us.

We spent three days going through the entire apartment organizing and throwing away items. Harrison loved going through all of his toys and clothes. It kept him pretty occupied during the whole process. Here he is wearing baby girl bloomers and a swim cap.

We moved the pack 'n play to the side of the closet and Jonny organized all of my clothes. We are using the space much more efficiently now!

This bucket kept him happy for a while. It's just his size.

We spent lots of time at the pool and the beach.

Then my parents graciously watched Harrison for two days while Jonny and I enjoyed a stay-cation. It was so much fun! We went surfing, ate out, enjoyed a fireside from Elder Garns, swam in the pool, played at the beach, and finished cleaning out the apartment. Thank you Mom and Dad!

The most exciting things that happened during our two week break was that Jonny got a job! He accepted a position to clerk for Judge Beverly O'Connell of the Central District of California! This is an answer to many prayers. Boy have we learned a lot about patience. But, I think the most important thing we've learned is that we can choose to be happy and faithful even when things aren't working out just the way we'd like them to. All that matters is our faith in God and our little family. I'm so proud of my Jonny.
(Here we are celebrating at the Shake Shack in Newport right after we came back from our stay-cation and received the call from the Judge O'Connell).
