Harrison and I get to spend every day together. We have a blast and it's no surprise that he picks up on things that I do because he is with me all-day-long. Recently, he has started grabbing my makeup bag and dabbing eyeshadow on his eyes, just the way mommy does. Yikes!
Jonny saw him doing this one night and immediately (and gently) took the makeup bag and got out a toy gun he used to play with when he was a kid. He told him that boys don't play with makeup, they play with guns! Jonny then proceeded to show him how to hold it and made a few gun noises. Harrison did not miss a beat. He took the gun in his hand and fired it with sound effects and all. I swear, little boys are born with sound effects.
